
Join us for the 6th annual Sugarloaf Charity Summit Charity Challenge!
Join Maine Cancer Foundation, the Dempsey Center, and MaineHealth Franklin Hospital's Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center in the effort to raise a mountain of money to fight cancer on Saturday, January 24!
We invite you to start a team or to contribute to the collective goal on your own! You'll be rewarded the satisfaction of supporting the cancer community of Maine! What’s more, your fundraising efforts will be rewarded with exciting prizes and exclusive on-hill events during the Charity Summit weekend.
CHARITY CHALLENGE EVENTS INCLUDE:
NEW THIS YEAR: Test your speed and skill in our dual slalom race! Charity Challenge Competitors face off head-to-head on parallel courses, navigating tight turns in a bracket-style tournament. Whether you're a seasoned racer or first-timer, the dual slalom adds an exciting competitive element to the day—with all the friendly rivalry supporting a great cause. More details coming soon.
Cut for Cancer | 10am-close | Saturday & Sunday | SuperQuad, Whiffletree & Skyline Quads.
- Thanks to our friends at Sugarloaf, participants will be able to cut the lift line at these 3 quads
Free Hot Cocoa | 10am-1pm | The Maple Room
- Hot Cocoa will be available in the Maple Room for all Charity Challenge Participants

RAISE A MINIMUM OF $200 to participate in the Charity Challenge on January 24, 2026. At this level, individuals will receive a Charity Challenge buff that will serve as admission to all Charity Challenge events, including the infamous Cut-for-Cancer! Cut-for-Cancer will extend to Sunday, January 25th! That means TWO DAYS of cutting the line.

RAISE $500 and receive the above PLUS a signature event incentive (coming soon!) and three (3) Hope on the Slopes: 2-year Ski Pass tickets.

RAISE $1,000 and receive the above PLUS a signature event incentive (coming soon!) and a one-day lift ticket voucher for the 2024/2025 season.

RAISE $1,500 and receive the above PLUS two tickets to the 2026 Charity Summit Gala on January 24.

RAISE $2,000 and receive the above PLUS a Charity Summit custom Optimist backpack from Flowfold.

RAISE $3,000 and receive the above PLUS and private first tracks with ski patrol and a breakfast at Bullwinkle’s for January 24. This offer is only valid for the first 20 individuals who reach this goal by 12pm on Friday, Jan. 23. Each recipient will also be able to bring a guest.

TOP INDIVIDUAL FUNDRAISER - the top individual fundraiser as of noon on Friday, January 23 will receive custom Mainers Gloves and First Tracks with Ski Patrol for a group of up to (10) people at Sugarloaf, where you will head up on the lifts at 6:45am. This trip will be available any day with advanced notice and is valid through the spring of 2026.

TOP TEAM FUNDRAISER - the top fundraising team as of noon on Friday, January 23 will receive the exclusive opportunity of First Tracks with Ski Patrol for a group of up to (10) people at Sugarloaf, where you will head up on the lifts at 6:45am. This trip will be available any day with advanced notice, based on availability, and is valid through the spring of 2026.
*PLEASE NOTE: PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A VALID LIFT TICKET OR SEASON PASS IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN ON-HILL EVENTS.
